Cocktail Attire, All in White

Dresses from just above the knee to midi length, matching sets, suits, or a tailored jacket and trousers. Ties are optional, and an open collar or a knit polo works too.

Our wedding revolves around art, so don’t be boring! Play with textures and silhouettes, glam it up with jewelry, and take a risk. Become the coolest version of yourself.

Colors

White. Don’t worry, you read that correctly! We want the guests to wear white to our welcome party, the bride and groom will be in color.

Creative Black Tie: Colorful Cultural Couture.

Floor-length gowns, suits, and tuxedos, styled as wearable art. Go all out: there is no outshining a Nigerian bride, so we want you looking the best you’ve ever looked.

This is a multi-cultural wedding, so we’re inviting everyone to put a cultural spin on their outfits! If you’d like, wear our culture or wear yours, whether that’s traditional dress or a modern look that nods to it. Think Nigerian aso oke, or pull out the lehenga, qipao, kente, kurta, sabai, ao dai, etc., you’ve been dying to wear.

See our favorite designers from around the world below for inspiration, or message the bride if you’re curious about wearing a traditional Nigerian outfit.

Note: No need to buy anything new! Creative black tie from your closet is just as welcome!

Shoes: Block heels over stilettos, since parts of the day are on grass.

Colors

Come in your most vibrant colors, the ones that make you your most joyful self. Unlike the welcome party, white is reserved for the bride and groom on this day.
