About Cooper & Ciera

Hi, we’re Ciera & Cooper. Here’s a little bit about us and how we found our way to each other.

Coop is from Boise, Idaho, and Ciera is from New York (but not the city). Our paths first crossed in the fall of 2019 at Stanford, in a contemporary dance class called “Liquid Flow.” In one of the first lessons, our teacher asked, “If you don’t find love on campus, what will you do, date your boss?”

I guess we took that to heart, and (after spending a year at home during COVID) we started dating in the fall of 2021. Our first date involved homemade pizza, a long discussion of Game of Thrones, and a visit from three thieving raccoons. After that date, we never stopped hanging out.

We’ve since moved to SF and adopted a dog. We love to host and share a passion for cooking (great food is a must), we both enjoy singing & making music, and we are both makers – designer and engineer, respectively.
